Who they are
Avneri is a founding member of Standing Together and built its community organising department. He is a doctoral student in the history of science at Bar-Ilan, a member of the Israeli Climate Forum, and one of the leaders of the Green New Deal for Israel initiative, which frames climate action in social justice terms. He is a prominent voice in Israel's LGBTQ community and concentrates on housing and social policy on the Tel Aviv council.
