Who they are
Khnifess was born in Shefa-Amr in 1974 and served in the Paratroopers. He studied politics at the University of Haifa and became Yossi Katz’s parliamentary adviser in 1999. He worked at Israel’s London embassy from 2007 to 2009. He earned a doctorate at SOAS and completed postdoctoral research at Georgetown.
Positions and record
Equality: Repeal the Nation-State Law and secure equal access to education, employment and infrastructure.
Judiciary: Protect an independent judiciary that safeguards minority and civil rights.
Palestinians: Separate from the Palestinian population while maintaining Israeli military and security superiority in any agreement.
Syria: Establish a demilitarised humanitarian zone from northern Mount Hermon through Suwayda to Jabal al-Druze to support Syrian Druze communities.
Economy: Break monopolies and reduce barriers to enterprise, alongside fast transport links to outlying communities and science and technology education from nursery age.
