Who they are

Piasetzky-Morag was born in Bat Yam in 1984 and played volleyball for Hapoel Bat Yam. She worked in communications at Hapoel Tel Aviv and as a producer at the Sports Channel. She joined Bat Yam’s council for Meretz in 2013. She worked at the cybersecurity company Hunters before becoming deputy mayor in 2026.

Positions and record

Transport: Require national provision of public transport on weekends and holidays, rather than leaving access to municipal decisions.

Women’s health: Abolish abortion committees and leave the decision to the woman and her medical care.

Environment: Pass a climate law, restore funding for environmental organisations and strengthen their representation in planning bodies.
