Who they are
Born in Tel Aviv in 1987 to a single mother, Green began organising as a schoolboy working at a coffee chain, founding the first workers' committee in Israel's restaurant and cafe sector. He was fired for it, won reinstatement at the National Labour Court in 2007, led a six-week strike and secured a collective agreement. He was in the leadership of the 2011 social protests, then parliamentary adviser to the Hadash MK Dov Khenin, and co-founded Standing Together in 2015.
