Who they are
Born in 1985 in Kafr Yasif in the western Galilee, Daood worked for years as a clinical speech and language therapist rehabilitating children and adults before turning to politics. She entered activism through the campaign against the 2018 Nation-State Law and became a national co-director of Standing Together the year after. Times of Israel describes her as the first Palestinian woman to lead a national party in Israel.

Peace: Argues the conflict has to be solved rather than managed, through direct talks with the Palestinian leadership.
Crime in Arab society: Frames the collapse of personal safety as a policy failure, fixable by restoring cut budgets and protecting witnesses.
