Amcha Israel, 2026 candidates and platform

A new right-wing list headed by Ofer Winter, the reserve brigadier general who commanded Givati in Gaza in 2014. He recruited officers, reservists and civilians instead of serving politicians, and runs on no Palestinian state and emigration from Gaza, with a slate of religious, traditional and secular candidates.

History

2014

Winter commands the Givati Brigade through the Gaza war, and the order of the day he issues to his soldiers, framing the fight in religious terms, makes him a national argument.

2024

The army discharges him in December, after passing him over twice for major general. He starts touring the country with house meetings under the banner Winter Without a Filter.

2026

Purple billboards appear on 19 August reading "soon you will have someone to vote for, 25 August", carrying neither his name nor his photograph.

Yoseph Haddad completes the registration of his own party, Brave Israel, on 24 August, and joins Winter's list at number two the next day.

2026

Winter launches the party on 25 August at the Shalva Center in Jerusalem before about 300 supporters. The name comes from the hineni prayer of the High Holiday prayer leader.

Netanyahu calls Winter, Avi Maoz and Moshe Feiglin "three mushrooms after the rain" and tells them to unite or withdraw. Smotrich says forces should be concentrated, not risked.
