Who they are
Eran Ben Ari is a lawyer in private practice who sits on the national council of the Israel Bar, which he reached at the head of the Yozma slate.
Born in 1981, he grew up in Kfar Adumim and studied law at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He trained at the Yigal Arnon firm and then joined the civil department of the State Attorney’s Office, where he was made secretary of the committee chaired by Justice Edmond Levy on building in Judea and Samaria. He went on to take charge of Judea and Samaria at the legal advice office of the defence ministry. He left government service to open his own practice and is a partner in the firm of Ben-Ari, Marnes, Tchelet and Co. In 2026 he joined Ofer Winter’s Amcha Israel.
Positions and record
The Bar Association: Leads the opposition on the Israel Bar's national council. Argues Bar membership should be voluntary and that ethics enforcement should move to a body not appointed by Bar officials. In 2024 he went to court against his own Bar over the appointment of its representative to the Judicial Selection Committee, and lost on delay.
Judea and Samaria: Was secretary to the Levy Committee on the status of building in Judea and Samaria and handled settlement affairs for the Defence Ministry's legal adviser. His stated public focus is applying Israeli sovereignty there.
