Who they are

Elkin was born in Ukraine in 1971 and trained as a mathematician. He entered the Knesset in 2006 with Kadima and moved to Likud in 2008, serving as coalition chairman and chairing the Foreign Affairs and Defence Committee. He left Likud in December 2020 for Gideon Sa'ar's New Hope, sat with National Unity, and returned to Likud in 2026. He has been a minister in the Finance Ministry since November 2024.
