Born in 1976, an educator from Kiryat Arba with a doctorate in psychology. He co-founded the Tikva Forum after his son Eitan was taken hostage on 7 October 2023, and opposed partial deals with Hamas.
Positions and record
Hostage deals: Opposed exchanges releasing large numbers of Palestinian prisoners, saying Israel must not repeat the 2011 Shalit deal.
Gaza war: Demanded sustained military pressure on Hamas and opposed withdrawal from strategic corridors.
Hostage families movement: Broke from the main Hostages and Missing Families Forum, calling its Kaplan Street tent politically motivated.
