Who they are
Ben Ami was born in 1979. She studied at the Hebrew University and worked as a lecturer in education and gender. She headed the university's gender and parenthood unit, then founded the Michal Sela Forum in 2020. She stepped down as its chief executive and joined Yisrael Beiteinu in August 2026.
Positions and record
Violence against women: Patrols, panic buttons and protection dogs for women under threat, through the forum she founded.
Guardianship: Drove the 2020 law stripping guardianship from a parent charged with murdering a family member.
Guns for civilians: Warned that wider gun licensing could put women at risk and wrote to Ben-Gvir about weapons reaching dangerous hands.
Moving right: Says everyone moved right after 7 October and so did she, and backs the death penalty for murderers.
