Running for deputy foreign minister

In a signed column on 19 July 2026, Moatti says she would be honoured to serve as deputy foreign minister in the next government. In a Ynet interview on 14 January 2019, she named deputy education minister and then education minister as her ambitions; no current restatement of that education target was verified.

Who they are

Moatti was born in Netanya in 1980 and left school to work. She later completed her matriculation and studied at the Open University. She opened Hamitbachon Communications in 2010 and advised Reuven Rivlin’s 2014 presidential campaign. She published her first novel, Blue Marks, in 2018 and served as a Labour MK from 2021 to 2022.
