Running for Economic Affairs or Interior Committee chair; finance minister as an aspiration

In his June 2026 questionnaire, updated on 9 July, Dabush names the Economic Affairs and Interior committee chairs as personal targets. Asked which government or parliamentary job he would choose for environmental work, he names finance minister as his aspiration and renewing the environmental caucus as his realistic commitment.

Who they are

Dabush was born in Ashkelon in 1976 and studied at Or Etzion yeshiva. He served in the Armoured Corps and founded a school for autistic pupils in Kibbutz Revadim in 1999. He earned degrees in behavioural science and organisational sociology at Ben-Gurion University. He worked for Shatil and became director of Rabbis for Human Rights in 2019.
