Who they are
Giladi practises law in Tel Aviv and holds a doctorate. He wrote Ani VeAta's founding charter in 2016. In August 2018 he asked the elections committee to bar Netanyahu and the MKs who backed the Nation-State Law; Justice Hanan Melcer rejected the petition. He led the party into the 2019 Knesset election.
Positions and record
Economy and democracy: Calls for political power to pass from wealthy interests to the wider public. His writing proposes an independent social authority and equal standing for individual liberty and socioeconomic equality.
Nation-State Law: Opposes the Nation-State Law. His August 2018 petition argued that it undermined Israel's Jewish and democratic character and sought to prevent Netanyahu and its parliamentary supporters from contesting the next election; the elections committee rejected it.
