Who they are

Kakon was born in Migdal HaEmek on 18 November 1984, son of an educator and synagogue rabbi. He learned at Rabbi Yitzhak David Grossman's Migdal Ohr institutions and at Porat Yosef, and enlisted in 2006. He took degrees in education and business administration at Ono Academic College and was director-general of the Rekhasim council until 2023. He was elected mayor of Safed for Shas in February 2024.
