Who they are
Koven was born in Jerusalem and grew up in Ramat Beit Shemesh. He studied at Mir Yeshiva and trained in rabbinical advocacy at Torat HaMishpat, then worked as an outreach rabbi in Norfolk, Virginia. He returned to Israel and worked in banking. He says he enlisted after 7 October 2023 and serves in the Hasmonean Brigade’s military rabbinate.
