Who they are
Mughrabi was born in Ein Qiniyye in 1976. He taught physical education in Kiryat Shmona, at Avital School in Merom Golan and at Atid’s technological school in Mas’ade. He became head of Ein Qiniyye’s council in 2018 and was re-elected in 2024.
Positions and record
Integration: He supports closer integration of Golan Druze residents into Israeli society and encourages Israeli citizenship and shared life with Jewish neighbours.
Local development: He identifies tourism, agriculture and sport as his municipal investment priorities, alongside schools and local business development.
Land and energy: In June 2023, he called for Golan wind-turbine construction to stop while landowners’ consent and planning permissions were examined. He favoured dialogue and opposed violence.
Military service: In December 2025, he signed a council heads’ letter calling for the proposed conscription law to be halted, arguing that unequal service burdens harm security and public trust.
