Who they are
Born in Rosh Pina in 1975, he took a law degree at Ono Academic College and a master's in public policy at the Hebrew University. He worked as a parliamentary aide to Moshe Gafni and was a deputy and acting mayor of Beit Shemesh from 2008 to 2018. He was elected mayor of Beit Shemesh in March 2024, beating Aliza Bloch in a run-off with 58 per cent of the vote.
