Who they are
Elboim was born in the United States and moved to Israel aged one. He studied in Ger institutions, then worked as a rabbinical-court advocate before reading law at Ono Academic College. He became a lawyer and entered Bnei Brak’s city council with Tovat HaIr in 2024. He now chairs HaKahal.
Positions and record
Representation: He supports open primaries for Haredi parliamentary candidates instead of appointments imposed from above.
Service: In August 2026 he proposed a body separate from the army where people wishing to study Torah could do so, as a negotiated response to the draft dispute.
Municipal oversight: In April 2024 he sought representation for each opposition faction on the audit committee, and teacher, parent and pupil representatives on the relevant municipal committees.
