Who they are
Sharabi grew up in the Tayasim neighbourhood of south Tel Aviv. He worked in the financial division at Bank Hapoalim. After 7 October 2023, he led a campaign for the return of hostages. He joined Yisrael Beiteinu in May 2026.
Positions and record
Commission of inquiry: Makes a state inquiry into 7 October a condition for any coalition, and asks how a thousand days passed without one.
The hostage campaign: Ran his own small team to reach heads of government, and says opening doors was what he could offer.
Gaza: Argued in 2025 that occupying Gaza would not free the hostages and only a diplomatic route would; since joining, calls for Hamas to be destroyed.
Haredi enlistment: Says every part of Israeli society has to enlist and share the burden, not just one community.
Why Yisrael Beiteinu: Says he grew up on the old Likud's values and that this party is what the movement used to be.
Sitting with Netanyahu: Declined to rule it out, saying there is no place for boycotts; the party corrected him the same day.
