Who they are
Silfen finished Yeshurun school in Petah Tikva in 2004 and did national service at Meir Hospital in Kfar Saba. She worked as parliamentary adviser to Elie Alalouf in 2016 and as media adviser at the Intelligence Ministry in 2022. By 2024, she was chief executive of the Task Force on Human Trafficking and Prostitution.
Positions and record
National service: In July 2025, proposed full national service for young Haredi women within their own religious communities.
Purchasing sex: In a signed June 2025 submission, called for a permanent ban on purchasing sex and resources to enforce it.
Education: In a signed October 2025 policy paper, proposed compulsory education on healthy sexuality in middle and secondary schools.
Youth protection: In October 2025, proposed more outreach staff, assistance centres and residential rehabilitation outside central Israel for sexually exploited minors.
Sexual health: In October 2025, proposed confidential treatment for minors at Levinsky sexual-health clinics.
