Who they are
Dekel was born in Ramat Gan and moved to Petah Tikva at 13. She served in the IDF orchestra, then studied law at Ono Academic College. She chaired OMEP Israel from 2020 and advised Petah Tikva’s mayor on early childhood. She appeared on Channel 14 and joined Yisrael Beiteinu in July 2026.
Positions and record
Early-years education: Calls for more nursery places and better kindergarten provision in Petah Tikva, with municipal responsibility for children from birth.
Judicial reform: Opposed the government’s proposed judicial overhaul in her 2024 municipal campaign, while supporting changes to the justice system.
