Her only on-record ambition was the Labor and Welfare Committee chair, which she asked for in the 2021 campaign and has held since August 2025. No 2026 reporting has her seeking the ministry itself.
Who they are
Waldiger was born in Bnei Brak in 1969, read law at Bar-Ilan and ran a commercial law practice. She sat on Givat Shmuel city council from 2013 with the welfare portfolio, founded an organisation for families coping with both mental illness and addiction, and headed the Bat Ami national service association from 2017. She entered the Knesset in 2021 and served as deputy finance minister.
