Announced on 4 August with no slot attached: the party statement did not say where he would sit, and Yashar has published no ranked list. He keeps the deputy mayor job for now and would leave it only on entering the Knesset. No ministry request from him is on record.

Who they are

Born in 1990 in Pardes Katz in Bnei Brak and raised in Ramat Gan, Zari took a communications degree at Reichman University and spent his twenties as a spokesman: for the Scouts, for the Israeli LGBTQ+ association, for Savyon local council and then for Ra'anana. He founded a youth list, Ramat Gani (רמת גני), and won a council seat in 2018 at 28, the youngest member elected that year and the first in the city who was openly gay. In 2024 he ran again on a joint list with Blue & White, doubled it to two seats, and was made deputy mayor that April under Carmel Shama-Hacohen, holding infrastructure, the Bursa business district, sustainability, youth and special needs. He is married to Niv, and the two are in a surrogacy process in Israel.

Positions and record

Youth movements: Calls them a pillar of social education and backed a Ramat Gan policy clearing Tuesday afternoons for them, saying a caring generation needs real room to develop.

LGBTQ+ equality: Ran the city's first pride event and opened its pride centre. Married his partner in a Jewish ceremony and called it the answer to anyone who says there is no place for us in Judaism.

The Bursa district: Heads the administration of Ramat Gan's business district and has run its redevelopment, moving companies and institutions into the area.

National politics: Says the reality in Israel in 2026 requires taking responsibility from the national centres of decision-making rather than standing aside.
