Bornstein took a first degree in political science at Tel Aviv University and a law degree, and runs her own personal status practice as a lawyer and mediator. She stood eighth on the Economic Party list in 2022, advises the party on law, and acted for Zelekha and the party in a copyright claim over a photograph in 2024.
