Who they are

Nasasra took a bachelor’s degree in education and literature and a master’s in local government and public administration. He worked as a teacher and headed Abu Ubaida school in Rahat. He was serving on Rahat’s council by 2018. He resigned as deputy mayor in 2020 and was appointed again in 2024.

Positions and record

Policing: In March 2026, backed weapons collection and a sustained crime plan. Opposed Rahat’s Bayan neighbourhood closure, calling it collective punishment that burdens residents without reducing crime.

Land and housing: In June 2026, opposed home demolitions and land confiscation and called for stronger representation of Negev residents in political decisions.

Public services: In December 2024, called for police action against attacks on businesses and public facilities, and for residents to protect buses and shared infrastructure.
