Who they are

Futerman was born in New York in 1982 and grew up in Ashkelon. He served as a fighter and commander in Nahal and took two degrees in government and public policy at IDC Herzliya. He advised education minister Yuli Tamir from 2005 to 2009, founded the TALMA national English programme in 2014 and ran it until 2022, then led Keren Hayesod. He has headed the Kfar Aza rehabilitation fund since October 2023.
