Who they are
Almog Cohen was born in 1988, served as a fighter in the police Yasam unit and owned a Beersheba restaurant. He organised armed civilian response teams in the Negev in 2021 and entered the Knesset in 2022 on the joint Religious Zionism and Otzma Yehudit list. He left it in April 2025 under the Norwegian Law on becoming deputy minister in the Prime Minister's Office, and joined Likud on 12 August 2026.

Negev crime: Initiated the law widening penalties for extortion and protection rackets.
Terrorism: Sponsored the law allowing deportation of a terrorist's family members who backed the attack.
Negev airport: Pushed to build a civilian airport at Nevatim, briefly resigning from the government over it.
