A one-issue economic party founded in December 2020 by Yaron Zelekha, Accountant General at the Finance Ministry from 2003 to 2007 and the whistleblower whose testimony underpinned the case against Ehud Olmert. It runs on breaking up monopolies and importer cartels, cutting VAT to 12 percent, and forcing the banks open. It ran in 2021 and 2022 and missed the threshold both times, falling from 0.79 percent to 0.29 percent. The bloc label here tracks Zelekha's opposition to Netanyahu, not a left-wing platform: on security and settlement the party sits right of centre.
The list, who comes with them
The list is not set yet. The party has never held a primary. Zelekha assembled the slate himself in both previous cycles and no 2026 list has been published. The open question is not the order but whether it runs alone at all: it polls under the bar and has been discussed as a merger partner on the centre. Its own line is that it has not settled any tie-up with anyone.
