Who they are
Born in Tel Aviv in 1950, Dori fought as a tank gunner in Sinai in the Yom Kippur War and took degrees in political science, philosophy and work studies at Tel Aviv University. He was spokesman and media adviser to the Labor Party under Rabin, Peres and Barak, and strategic adviser to Shimon Peres for some twenty-five years, a relationship he wrote up in his memoir. He also ran the campaign against Swiss banks over dormant Holocaust-era accounts.
