Who they are
Haskel was born in Toronto on 4 March 1984 and raised in Kfar Saba. She joined the Border Police in 2002, then trained and worked as a veterinary nurse in Australia. She entered the Knesset for Likud in 2015 and was deputy foreign minister from 2024 to 2026. Comptroller data published on 1 September 2026 listed her asset declaration as outstanding after four reminders.
Positions and record
Haredi enlistment: In September 2026, proposed border yeshivas combining Haredi religious study with border-defence duties, and made a recruitment law a condition for joining a government.
Judea & Samaria: In February 2020, rejected a Palestinian state and called for extending Israeli sovereignty in the West Bank before the election.
Coalition: Backs a right-wing government, including under Netanyahu, that does not depend on Haredi parties for its majority. Rules out Arab parties and sitting with Yair Golan.
Medical cannabis: In January 2022, sought to reduce medical-cannabis prices by removing duplicate Health Ministry approval for farm and factory workers while keeping police background checks.
