Who they are

Kraunik grew up in Pardes Katz and studied at the Neve Sarah Herzog seminary. She moved to Kibbutz Be'eri, where she worked mainly as a payroll accountant, and later trained in NLP and resilience work. Her husband Arik, the kibbutz security coordinator, was killed defending Be'eri on 7 October 2023, while she and her daughter sheltered for 17 hours. She has since lectured across the country and now lives in Hatzerim.

Positions and record

Gaza: Campaigns for voluntary emigration from Gaza and says it should extend to Palestinians in Judea and Samaria: "if we do not do this now, reality will blow up in our faces and we will get another 7 October, this time in the heart of the country."

The war: "I want to go back to my home and there is no way around a decisive outcome." Says the fighting should continue until Hamas is defeated outright.

7 October responsibility: Rejects the language of abandonment while accepting failure: "the state failed, it did not abandon us. The army failed, it did not abandon us."
