Who they are
Kedar served in the Medical Corps, reaching lieutenant-colonel. She took degrees at Bar-Ilan and Ben-Gurion universities, including a master's in health systems management. She commanded the army's unit at Barzilai Hospital during the 2014 Gaza war and became head of Ashkelon's employment and industry department in 2015.
Positions and record
Environmental assessment: In June 2022, called for an independent risk assessment to identify the sources of industrial odours affecting Ashkelon.
Air monitoring: In June 2022, proposed two monitoring stations outside EAPC’s perimeter, coordinated with health, environmental and municipal authorities.
Employment: In September 2023, called for removing barriers to companies and factories locating in Ashkelon, to widen the range of jobs and improve pay.
