Who they are

Hani was born in Acre and still lives there, and credits the mixed city with giving her a belief in Arab-Jewish partnership from childhood. She runs dialogue programmes at the city's Mediation Center and coordinates its Arab society work. She spent years in the Negev campaigning for recognition of the unrecognised Bedouin villages, and helped found the Wadi Attir sustainable community project.
