Who they are

Ezra was born in Jerusalem and served as a commander in the paratroopers' 890th Battalion. He worked as a manager in the hi-tech industry and completed a master's in law and business innovation. He founded Dor HaNitzachon after returning to reserve service in October 2023, and the movement ran a Knesset lobby for the rights of reservists and students.

Positions and record

Haredi enlistment: Argues for a universal draft on security grounds and explicitly rejects the equality-of-burden framing: "I am not calling for conscription out of equality, I am calling for it out of security." Wants it achieved by incentives, not arrests.

Reservists: He advocates priority for reservists in university admissions and civil-service hiring. His Dor HaNitzachon movement also campaigns to expand study grants for veterans.

A state commission of inquiry: Supports one and says the public should demand it be expedited, arguing only its full conclusions will establish what happened on 7 October.
