Who they are
Ronen was born in Kfar Aza in 1992 and grew up in Kochav Yair–Tzur Yigal. He commanded a Maglan team in the 2014 Gaza war. He completed a law degree at Tel Aviv University in 2021 and interned in the State Attorney’s Economic Department. He became a leader of Brothers in Arms in 2023 and commanded a reserve team during the war that began that October.
Positions and record
Government: In July 2026 Ronen called for more investigations into corruption in government and a fairer distribution of public money.
Draft: Ronen wants equal enforcement of the draft law. He says Arab citizens should be drafted if the army needs them.
Coalition: In July 2026 Ronen backed bringing Ra’am into government and said Likud and the Haredi parties should spend a term in opposition.
Religion & state: In his 2026 questionnaire, Ronen backed civil marriage, ending the Chief Rabbinate’s monopoly and separating religion from the state.
Education: Ronen would condition state school funding on core studies, disclose outside providers and materials in schools, and establish a state secular education stream.
