Who they are

Harush Giti grew up in Jerusalem in a traditional Moroccan household, half of it Haredi by her own account. She commanded a company at the Havat HaShomer training base and took a master's in public policy at the Hebrew University. She ran the Acharai! movement as its first woman chief executive, then Pnima, and from 2020 headed the Defense Ministry's service outline directorate under Benny Gantz.

Positions and record

Draft: A National Service Law covering every community, enforced.

Integration: Enlistment must lead into employment and education, not stop at the base gate.

Service: Universal obligations as the price of the social contract.

Kodkod: Personally built the Kodkod track at the Defense Ministry, which places elite Haredi men aged 21 to 26 into Unit 8200 technology roles while they keep living at home and dressing Haredi rather than wearing uniform; the program has grown from 86 to 200 places per intake.

Autonomy: Says the goal goes beyond a conscription law: in a Kol Hai radio interview she called for dismantling Haredi communal autonomy across 'all areas of Haredi life,' arguing it weakens the state, and for reaching the Haredi public directly rather than through rabbinic leadership.
