Who they are

Assayag was born in Ashdod and attended Shikmim primary school and Makif Gimel secondary school. He served in the Armoured Corps, later becoming a reserve casualty officer, and ran Photo David Assayag. He led Blue and White's city campaign office in 2019 and joined Ashdod city council in 2024.

Positions and record

Judicial reform: In August 2023, called for judicial reform by agreement and opposed the government’s rush to take control of the courts.

Higher education: In August 2023, supported bringing a university to Ashdod, preferably in cooperation with the hospital.

Term limits: In August 2023, argued that politicians should serve two terms and then hand over to a successor.

Graffiti: In May 2024, proposed talks with graffiti artists and designated spaces for their work, rather than relying on fines.
