Who they are
Shlayan is a retired merchant-ship captain from Nazareth. He began organising Bnei Brit in 2013 and co-founded the Partnership for Everyone with Talal al-Qrinawi and Abdallah Abu Ghanem in 2026.
Positions and record
National service: In 2013, advocated military or national service for Arab citizens and a party open to Jewish and Arab members.
Israeli–Palestinian agreement: In 2013, supported a two-state agreement between Israelis and Palestinians alongside recognition of Israel as a Jewish state.
Equal citizenship: In 2021, called for citizens to integrate into Israeli society without distinctions of race, sex or religion.
Nazareth tourism: In 2013, proposed a large statue of Jesus on Mount Precipice near Nazareth and sought government support for the project.
