Who they are

Bakr Awawdeh led the Galilee Society, an Arab public-health and research organisation, for ten years.

He is from Kafr Kanna and worked as an organisational and strategic consultant before taking over the society in 2009. He left the directorship in 2019. He is an activist in Balad.
