Lev-Cohen took a master's in science and technology education at the Technion. She managed Bat Yam's municipal arts and science centre, then academic relations at Israel's embassy in Washington. She led ScienceAbroad by 2018 and stood for Blue and White in 2019. She later led Keren-Shemesh and founded the consultancy SoftSkills.
